**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Review invoices for the proper authorization.
- Key in a consistent volume of accounts payable invoices each month, matching of all source documents, and ensuring appropriate GL distribution.
- Input, process, files purchase order invoices.
- Manage and maintain existing and new vendor setups.
- Communicate with vendors on invoices and receiving and payments of outstanding accounts.
- Work and collaborate with Accounts Payables Manager from the corporate service team.
- Collect and organize documents for filing and recording.
- Collect, record and follow-up on safety-related items such as checklists, inspections, and audit forms.
- Completion of other accounting duties such as payroll data entry, and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Act as back up for the office administration team.
- Perform other duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Degree or Diploma in accounting or related field is considered an asset
- 2 years of experience working with a high volume of accounts payable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, able to multitask and high level of attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- A self-starter, able to work independently and effectively as required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
