**About DocuPet**
DocuPet is a fast-growing company with 70+ employees working across Canada and the United States. We manage the pet licensing programs for more than 85 cities and counties and are adding a new municipal partner every two weeks on average.
Ours is a complex business as we manage both municipal and company funds across multiple local, state/provincial, and federal jurisdictions. We process thousands of transactions daily through multiple channels.
To assist in the management during our scale-up phase we are seeking an experienced financial accountant/bookkeeper for our senior management team.
**About the Role**
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper to work in our Kingston, Ontario office (hybrid remote) to help maintain our financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger. This will be a hybrid remote position with onsite work required (# days in the office to be determined).
**Responsibilities**
Accounts Receivable
- Cash Receipts
- Collections
- Remittance Statements
- Invoice Processing and resolve any issues
Accounts Payable
- Invoice Processing and resolve any issues
- Reconcile Statements
Payroll
- Support and holiday coverage in Humi software
Accounting
- Journal entry support
Ad hoc admin and accounting related tasks as required to support the team
**Education & Training**
- 3+ years relevant experience in accounting
- Bookkeeping or Business Administration required
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office products
- Quickbooks Desktop considered an asset
- Payroll Certification considered an asset

**Salary**: $50,000-60,000 CAD per year
