We’re looking for our next Human Resources Specialist. Could It Be You?
The purpose of the Human Resources (HR) Specialist is to provide support to the HR Business Partner team in day-to-day operations of the business from a People & Culture (P&C) perspective and to execute on other HR related tasks, initiatives and projects.

The HR Specialist is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the HR department, which may include (but not limited to) HR administration, reporting and analytics, and support of various HR programs/initiatives.

**In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Assist HR Business Partners in supporting day-to-day operations of the business from a P&C perspective and other HR related tasks, initiatives and projects
- Provide HR administrative support to the HR Business Partner team and the employee groups they support
- Assist with the day-to-day implementation and support of various HR initiatives and projects, including roll-out of new HR programs and provide recommendations on processes to improve HR operational excellence
- Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback on employee experience and work with HR Business Partners to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide information and guidance to employees on various leave of absence requests and work abroad requests
- Support HR Business Partners during performance management and compensation cycles (e.g. provide status reports, follow ups, letter distribution, etc.)
- Support HR Business Partners in Talent Reviews and Succession Planning
- Provide support with terminations, including letter creation and IT logistics
- Provide advice, guidance and assistance to management and employees regarding the interpretation of Company policies, practices and programs
- Coordinate information and training sessions,, as required
- Accurately record and maintain employee data and metrics
- Generate a variety of reports from Ceridian Dayforce (and other systems) as needed, including employee details, entitlement balances and status reports, to provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders.
- Provide accurate reporting and analytics for various HR metrics, survey data and other data sources
- Other administrative duties as assigned.

- Post-secondary education required
- CHRP designation preferred (or working towards a CHRP)
- 1 -2 years of HR experience required, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to adapt and prioritize, working in an ambiguous environment while driving for results
- Must be proactive and take initiative while operating with a sense of urgency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional yet personable demeanor with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
- Must be able to work well independently with an ability to work collaboratively with others
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment, and work with mínimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) and/or Google Workspace (e.g. Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, GMail) is required
- Experience working with Ceridian Dayforce is an asset
- Proficient understanding of employment legislation and regulations required
