Your role shifts to leadership, where you’ll inspire and develop your team while fostering a positive work culture. Your energetic leadership style will complement your commitment to compliance, health and safety, and effectively managing budgets and food costs.

In this key Senior Management position, you’ll seamlessly transition between shaping Glendale’s culinary direction and rolling up your sleeves to support the kitchen team in daily operations.

**Responsible to: Food and Beverage Manager**

**Duties; all aspects of kitchen management including but not limited to**:

- Creating innovative menus for the Restaurant, Patio, Kiosk, Beverage Carts, Weddings and Events
- Budget & Inventory management
- Standard operating procedures creation and general kitchen management
- Prep routine oversight and development
- Team building and training
- Food Safety Planning
- Member and Guest focused with a drive to surpass expectations
- Managing and supervising kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Execution of daily restaurant, patio, concession food operations
- Execution of large event food service for 200+ people

**To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills**:

- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role in a restaurant/event establishment
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of kitchen staff
- Experience in restaurant management, including inventory control and cost management
- Experience in event (member events, weddings, events etc.) execution
- Excellent supervisory skills to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail to maintain high standards of food presentation and taste
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

**Remuneration**
- Salary dependent on experience; $60,000 to $72,000
