Reporting to the Campus Director(s), the Student Advisor - Careers Coordinator would be responsible for providing support and knowledge to students about securing employment in their current field of study and be the front-line of communication with students.

**Job Duties would include but are not limited to**:

- Providing employment process knowledge, academic assistance and support to individual or groups of international students
- Coordination and participating in employment related events such as: hosting guest speakers, career fairs and program specific employer visits / hiring events
- Facilitating college surveys and supporting campus events, i.e. Convocation, Alumni Events, Career Fairs to engage current students
- Facilitating employment skills development workshops for groups and 1:1 meetings
- Informing and reminding students of College policies, rules and classroom announcements via direct, in-person interactions and by using various communication channels ; updating administrative activities related to the same
- Performing data entry and analysis during the semester to exceed established metrics
- Support the Student Services Department's activities related to the success rates of students' academic learning, assisting with tuition collection, monitoring attendance, assisting with classroom observations and invigilation
- Creating employment plans with students to support development of their professional habits and improve success rates
- Monitoring any students who are adding/dropping courses or withdrawing from the program
- Bringing to the attention of Campus Leadership and documenting any student/instructor issues within the College
- Supporting outreach and communication channels with Alumni, organization and participation in Alumni events

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience working in a fast-paced environment within a Post-Secondary Education setting is preferred
- Experience working with International Students is an asset
- Passionate to meet and exceed established metrics; proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and calculation of statistics
- Great attention to detail and the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to resolve conflict
- Flexibility to travel between Campus locations
- Experience in cold-calling and ability to close a transaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**This position is expected to work on-site at the College's campuses; **_**this is NOT a remote position**_
