**Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Learning Programs Manager, the** Learning & Development** **Business Partner** is a role on Saje’s People Team responsible for supporting people leaders to drive the development of their teams through the infrastructure of Saje’s Performance & Growth Program. The Learning & Development Business Partner is a highly cross-functional role and collaborates closely with the Learning Programs Manager to identify development opportunities and to design learning solutions that will equip leaders and teams at Saje to thrive in their roles.
- All Saje Team Members are responsible for contributing to Saje’s culture and maintaining a positive environment for themselves and their peers._

**This role is a 16 month contract.**

**Responsibilities**:
**CONSULTATION & ENABLEMENT**
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with Saje leaders
- Consult with and advise leaders on how to drive team performance and growth through the framework of Saje’s Performance & Growth Program
- Identify performance challenges and potential solutions through partnership with stakeholders across the organization
- Maintain regular dialogue with the People Operations Team and Learning Programs Manager about emerging development needs and opportunities
- Connect leaders and stakeholders with relevant learning programming to support their team’s needs and goals
- Coach and upskill leaders with knowledge and resources to support theirs and their teams’ development
- Inspire a culture of learning where leaders and Team Members are empowered and equipped to drive their development

**DEVELOPING LEARNING CONTENT**
- Contribute to the design, development, and continual refinement of Saje’s Performance & Growth programming
- Maintain and curate resources to support evergreen performance and growth needs
- Partner with the Learning Programs Manager to prioritize, design, develop, launch, and evaluate learning solutions and experiences

**FACILITATION**
- Facilitate a range (audience, format, skill/topic, etc.) of development experiences for leaders and teams

**Applicant Requirements**:

- 3+ years working with organizations in the retail or service industry
- 3+ years supporting the performance and/or development of customer-facing, distribution, and support office populations
- 3+ years experience as a Learning & Development professional and/or Human Resources Business Partner
- Degree/certification in learning and development, adult education, human resources or related
- Exceptionally skilled at identifying and translating learning needs and themes into practical performance and development solutions
- Experienced providing coaching and guidance to leaders to develop their teams
- Engaging facilitation and presentation skills that promote learning
- Demonstrated instructional design experience and familiarity with digital design tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to exercise effective judgment and navigate sensitive situations
- Collaborative team player that is flexible and adaptable to business needs
