Blue Tongue is a leading professional services, workforce supply and training company in Australia. Since 2005 Blue Tongue has been solving technical skills shortages for their mining clients. Blue Tongue have a proven model for success in Australia, which Blue Tongue is now looking to repeat in Canada. Blue Tongue is best known for its trade upgrade and is also well known for its international skills hiring program of mechanics and engineers.

Blue Tongue consults, employs, manages, and trains to solve skills issues for the maintenance in mining where the industry cannot get the specialist technical people they need. Additional industry areas for Blue Tongue's business are Rail maintenance and Logging. Blue Tongue is ready to launch in 2024 into Canada with the capabilities that have taken them to $55M in revenue in Australia achieved over the last 5 years.

**About the Role**

A unique life-changing employment and business opportunity is open for a dynamic Sales and Client Management professional. Blue Tongue is looking for an individual that appreciates strategic value and innovation. The role involves learning the intricacies of Blue Tongue’s services, consulting with industry stakeholders, and spearheading the establishment and growth of the business in Canada.

The successful person will have the backing and support of Blue Tongue's expert team in Australia and back-office resources.

**Responsibilities**
- Establish and lead the expansion of Blue Tongue's successful business model into the Canadian market, leveraging the proven strategies that have fuelled $55M revenue in Australia over the past 5 years.
- Collaborate closely with clients in the mining and logging sectors, forging strong partnerships to address and resolve skill shortages effectively.
- Drive engagement and collaboration with key stakeholders in the Canadian market, positioning Blue Tongue as a trusted partner in solving technical skills challenges.
- Establish and maintain a strong network within the Canadian business landscape, ensuring that Blue Tongue's footprint in the region is marked by strategic alliances and a positive brand presence.

**Essential Skills and Attributes**
- A track record in professional services, recruitment, or labour hire is essential, demonstrating your ability to navigate the complexities of these industries and drive successful sales outcomes.
- Experience leading and growing a team with the ability to excel in your own role but also inspire and guide a team to support the growth objectives of Blue Tongue in the Canadian market.
- A background in sales with the ability to expand businesses into new markets.
- A proven ability to establish and cultivate strong partnerships with clients, particularly in the mining and logging sectors.
- A solution focussed mindset with the ability to solve complex problems with innovative solutions.
