**Key Responsibilities**:
**Payroll Processing**
- Process payroll for all Lakeland College employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Manage monthly payroll cycles, including mid-month advances.
- Oversee payroll remittances, including benefits, pension, WCB, and T4s.

**Employee Setup and Adjustments**
- Administer new hire setups, pay adjustments, benefit changes, and deductions.
- Perform audits and verification checks on vacation accruals, leaves, and benefit information.

**Collaboration and Efficiency**
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain an efficient and accurate payroll process.
- Work in a confidential environment, handling sensitive payroll data.

**Job Requirements**:

- Two-year diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Canadian Payroll Association training/certification is a plus.
- Experience with PeopleSoft is an asset (training will be provided).
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in payroll or finance roles.
- Strong Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail.

**Additional Information**:
This is a Full-time Permanent AUPE appointment on the Vermilion campus commencing October 14, 2024. The current salary range is $47,357 - $59,680 per annum and includes a generous benefit package and pension plan.
