**Duties**:
The main role and responsibilities of a Trail Crew Supervisor may include:

- Lead a talented team of approximately 10 trail maintenance crew. Supervisor’s field tasks may include site visits, mentor and train their teams, and ensure workplace safety requirements are adhered.
- Supervise trail crew team in their work e.g., maintenance and repair activities for front and back country trails as well as campground infrastructure (trail tread, boardwalks, bridges, drainage features, tent pads, outhouses, picnic tables, food storage containers, and signage).
- Administer outhouse waste barrel removal program, removal of hazard trees, and delivery of a cross-country ski grooming program in winter.
- Ensure maintenance, repair, and new construction for trail infrastructure in remote backcountry and front country.
- Lead teams assigned to backcountry construction trips; requiring setting up and living in a camp for durations of up to two weeks. The use of helicopters, trucks and trailers, boats, quads, and hiking may be required to access some of the locations in Jasper National Park.
- Assist Asset Manager to identify and prioritize trails and infrastructure work which will be the basis of seasonal work planning. Supervisor shall identify, recommend, and implement solutions to resolve all trail related issues.

Your role is pivotal as seasons change; in winter, your crews will groom cross-country ski trails, crafting paths through snowy landscapes. Summer brings the thrilling opportunity to hike and fly into remote park areas, where your team's efforts enable both Canadians and international visitors to immerse themselves in the unparalleled beauty of the Rockies.

- EXP1: Operational Excellence and Safety: Advanced technical skills in administrative efficiency and maintenance operations, coupled with commitment to safety, ethical conduct, and adherence to corporate policies.
- EXP2: Strategic HR Leadership: Proven track record in supervising diverse teams, executing effective planning, conflict resolution, and embedding staff development into all levels of operation.
- EXP3: Financial Management: Demonstrated financial stewardship, budget formulation, and cost control to ensure long-term operational sustainability in line with organizational goals.
- EXP4: Background in Construction Work Supervision: Background in supervising construction and maintenance work with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and alignment with strategic conservation objectives.
