**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and prioritize collection efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and communications with clients.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes related to customer accounts.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure timely resolution of issues affecting payment.
- Prepare and submit reports on collection activities, aging accounts, and overall portfolio performance.
- Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor when dealing with clients, recognizing and respecting their individual circumstances.
- Continuously review and improve collection strategies to optimize results.
- Stay current on industry best practices and relevant regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or customer service.
- This is a hybrid opportunity requiring employee ability to work on-site for two days per week.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with collections software is an asset.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices.
