Head Chef for Hankki Korean Street Food

Hankki Korean Street Food is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of our signature dishes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance on cooking techniques and food safety.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, optimizing stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, budgeting, and supply chain management.
This role requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with multiple tasks and priorities. You must be able to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and multitask effectively.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; post-secondary education or relevant experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience as a chef or kitchen supervisor, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in food preparation, presentation, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A competitive salary range: $35,000 - $50,000 per annum.
