**Position Overview**:
The primary responsibilities of the Property Maintenance Team Member is to ensure the pristine appearance and functionality of our Penrose Suites and surrounding areas. Working as part of a dedicated team, members of the Property Maintenance Crew play a crucial role in upholding the high standards of our establishment, contributing to the overall guest experience and satisfaction.

**Job Functions**:

- Performing minor repairs and painting as needed to ensure the safety and functionality of facilities and equipment.
- Assist in maintaining the exterior grounds, including landscaping, snow removal, and general outdoor maintenance.
- Cleaning verandas, exterior of the building and walkways to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- Cleaning the employee washroom and employee break room.
- Collecting and disposing of debris and garbage on the property.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs or potential safety concerns.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or the Accommodations Manager.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring general cleanliness of the workspace, including equipment and maintenance areas.
- Maintaining the function and cleanliness of guest amenities.
- Performing light machinery maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Assisting other departments with various projects and services related to the Penrose Suites and surrounding property.
- Identifying and promptly communicating any issues or concerns to the Accommodations Manager.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

**Requirements**:

- Completion or expected completion of high school education.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Physical ability to perform a range of tasks, including lifting, standing, and bending.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, at various times, including early mornings.
- Strong punctuality and reliability in meeting work schedules.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under pressure.
- Previous experience with general property maintenance is considered an asset.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Casual

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 per week
