Baker Tilly Windsor is looking for an Associate to join our Corporate Finance practice supporting Due Diligence transactions. **Your primary responsibilities will include**:
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assisting financial and corporate acquirers and vendors in evaluating M&A opportunities. Your responsibilities will include understanding deal hypotheses and identifying company value drivers and risks. You will conduct detailed analyses, including quality of earnings reviews, sustainability of EBITDA, quality of assets, and working capital profiles, while also identifying potential risks and opportunities. Your expertise in building and preparing technical analyses, projections, forecasts, and models will be essential in identifying competitive issues and performance indicators at both macro and micro levels specific to the target market. Additionally, you will design and develop high-quality deliverables, including engagement letters, reports, presentations, and correspondence. You will continuously seek innovative ways to add value to clients, ensuring their needs are met and relationships are nurtured and developed. Collaboration with the client engagement team and maintaining flexibility to travel as necessary are also key aspects of this role.
- 2+ years of professional services work experience required. Experience in transaction or due diligence services, or other M&A focused roles is considered an asset
- Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials. CPA, CBV, or CFA designation or in progress is considered an asset.
- Enjoys problem-solving through numbers and analysis and building relationships with team and client.
- A strong commitment to teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail and can be adaptive to unstructured projects and timelines.
