Booking/reception Team Lead

Vivo Cura Healthcare is a multidisciplinary MSK pain management clinic focused on treating patients with muscle and joint pain. Our philosophy is that every member of the Vivo Cura team has a unique and important role to play as we try to accomplish our mission: to empower people in pain so they can get back to living. We are looking for a Booking/Reception Team Lead for our Central Calgary location who shares this philosophy and can grow with us. The Booking/Reception Lead will be responsible for overseeing the reception team at Vivo Cura and help to coordinate patient flow throughout the clinic.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily operations of the front desk, ensuring smooth check in/out for patients and maintaining a professional and confidential environment.
- Training, supervising and managing the reception team to ensure clinic protocols are adhered to and maintain excellent customer service standards
- Audit future appointment bookings to ensure the reception team is booking appropriately.
- Addressing and resolving patient complaints or issues between the reception staff and escalating concerns to management when needed.
- Answer phone calls and interact with patients as their first and ongoing point of contact
- Schedule appointments
- Liaise with other care providers regarding referred patients
- Update electronic medical record system with appropriate information as needed
- Ensure patient records and files are accurate and current
- Deliver impeccable customer service to patients, clinic staff and referring physicians
- Maintain and respect patient confidentiality at all times
- Warmly greet and register patients upon arrival
- Issue patient invoices/receipts
- Provide assistance to clinicians while they assess and treat patients
- Billing Alberta Health, private-pay patients, WCB and Third Parties
- Adhere to Vivo Cura Health policies, procedures and protocols
- Various other clerical administrative duties as required

- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and medical software

**Education and Experience**
- Completion of a recognized Medical Office Assistant program, and/or
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Office experience preferred
- Software literacy: experience utilizing EMR and other healthcare related software, preference given to those with experience using Accuro
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
