**JUNIOR INFORMATION SECURITY & PRIVACY STUDENT**

**Employment Type**:Temporary, Full-Time (35 hours per week) for 8 weeks.

The Junior Information Security & Privacy Student will assist the Security and Privacy Services department by providing various administrative support with Cyber Security programs and initiatives.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:

- Phishing exercise reporting and collation
- Threat hunting and minor incident reporting
- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) exception handling.
- Multifactor Authentication exception handling and report generation.
- Support the administration of security or privacy self-assessment processes for external stakeholders.

**MUST- HAVES**:

- Interest in Cyber Security
- Enrolled in or graduate of related Information Technology degree, diploma or certificate.
- Strong computer skills and ease learning new technologies.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel)
- Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrated team player
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality

**OTHER CONDITIONS**:

- Minimal exposure to disagreeable conditions typical of an office position: exposed to stress and pressure associated with multiple priorities and deadlines
