**Procurement: Legacy Operations**

**Responsibilities**
- Act as a central point of contact for new vendors to assist in:

- Setting up risk assessment meetings, taking notes and following up on action items.
- Coordinating with vendors to facilitate the completion of all necessary onboarding forms and ensuring this information is evaluated internally.
- Entering and updating supplier profiles in supplier database.
- As required, works with Buyers during the different phases of purchasing process (market research, scope review, bid evaluations and written recommendations)
- Support company to best practices in purchasing (internal controls, fairness in bidding, excellent documentation)
- Support the Purchasing Department in reporting.

**Qualifications**
- University or College diploma in the field of procurement, HSEC and/or Project Management;
- Knowledge of and interest in the mining industry;
- A critical and analytical thinker;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, bilingual (French/English) would be a strong asset;
- Demonstrated organizational, planning and time management skills;
- Strong Microsoft Word and/or Excel capabilities;
- Relevant work, or co-op experience, is considered an asset;
- A valid driver’s license.
