**Your opportunity**:
**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Reconciling accounts
- Recording detailed transactions for many accounts
- Preparing and/or processing journal entries
- Generating standard financial reports
- Processing payroll
- Identifying and resolving individual financial discrepancies

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Advanced College Diploma (3 years) with emphasis on financial accounting and administrative management or demonstrated acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant and demonstrated experience with financial administration.
- Experience in monitoring and reconciling accounts
- Experience processing accounts payable/receivables/expenses; reconciliation of payroll and processingpayroll; debit memos; reporting and purchase order transactions
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles is required
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and proficiency with SAP systems, including Financial Information System (FIS), Human Resources Information System (HRIS), or similar systems.
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment that requires multi-tasking on varied duties and to prioritize effectively and work under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving ability, organizational and planning skills; and ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Professionalism, accuracy, attention to detail, flexibility, tact, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills (written and oral)

**Assets (Nonessential)**:

- Familiarity with the University’s policies, structure and systems is an asset.
