**What You’ll Do**
- Conduct quality control activities for trade finance products like standby/commercial LCs, collection etc., as well as at times of supply chain products like receivable/payable financing, trade loan etc.
- Ensure all ICC guidelines and internal policies and procedures are adhered to
- Develop samples in accordance with QC Procedures and ensuring sampling results are comprehensive, and accurately identify operational risk factors and key controls.
- Finalise periodical QC reports with sample testing results grading.
- Provide effective and constructive to the operation teams on severity of deficiencies.
- Follow-up to ensure that all identified issues are remediated in timely manner and escalate if necessary.
- Maintain a close relationship with the operation team, both in trade finance and supply chain, to ensure alignment in process and standards.
- Monitor overall results of quality control reviews and report to Senior Manager/Director about performance.
- Assess the timeline followed in processing transaction, ascertaining whether operation unit has taken appropriate measure and utmost care to expedite processing transaction to avoid unnecessary delay and thus maximize customer satisfaction.
- Ensure continued learning and professional development of the transaction QC work.
- Plan, document, evaluate and maintain a robust quality control by designing QC procedures and incorporating continuous improvements with a comprehensive understanding of the bank’s risk appetite and risk culture.
- Identify trends or procedural weakness and/or inconsistencies.
- Maintain, and in some cases - establish - working relationships with key stakeholders including keeping abreast of key business, regulatory and industry developments and any changes to procedures and practices.
- Escalate issues to management as appropriate.
- Analyse the processed transaction, create, and manage database to spot trends from knowledge gaps perspective.
- Acting as backup for Senior Manager Risk Control or other Managers as required.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Bachelor’s degree, along with 7-8 years international trade finance operations and/or Quality Control
- Excellent knowledge of ICC publications like UCP 600, ISP 98, URDG 758 etc.
- Excellent Knowledge of Trade Finance Products, Structured Trade Finance products, Risk Participations etc.
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PP, Adobe. Given the increasing reliance on technological solutions for trade transactions purposes and risk assessment/mitigation, the incumbent must be able to work with other systems such as Trade360, Trade Express Elite etc.
- Strong analytical skills with a strong attention to details.
