of individuals, families, and communities. We work with our 11 First Nation community partners in primary

health, traditional healing, mental wellness & addictions counselling, home and community support services

and health promotion service.

**The Opportunity**: As the new HR Assistant, you will support the administration of the day-to-day operations of Maamwesying Human Resource team. You will also help to ensure that the administrative systems are functioning effectively and efficiently. You will assist in the clerical duties within the HR department.

**What You Need to Bring with You**:

- Post-secondary diploma in Human Resource, Business or Office Administration
- Two to three years of human resource experience and office administration within a health environment
- Respect for, sensitivity towards as well as knowledge and understanding of Anishinabek culture and language and the Seven Grandfather Teachings
- Excellent organization ability.
- Experience and familiar with HR software and information management systems
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in computer literacy in a Microsoft environment including experience in the development of spreadsheets, forms, word, Power Point, Outlook.
- A clear criminal reference check is a condition of employment.
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license

**What to Expect? **Given the traditional practices of Aboriginal people, from time-to-time exposure to smoke from the burning of sacred medicines such as tobacco, sweet grass, sage or cedar may occur.
