**CLEANING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER**

Denver Property Restoration is looking to hire a new member to our team. We are a 24-hour emergency response company, with our focus on the restoration of fire, flood, wind damage, sewer backups and site remediation to properties within Winnipeg and remote communities. We pride ourselves on helping to restore a home or business to its pre-loss condition and strive to maintain a reputation for excellent work and customer service.

As the Cleaning & Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for various tasks within the organization, including but not limited to the following:
**Responsibilities**

**HR**
- Job vacancy posting, employee hiring, interviews and employee orientation.
- Employee documentation - Provide regular feedback to employees via annual performance objectives, mid-year reviews, annual reviews and other communication mechanisms.
- Manage employee vacation and sick time.
- Develop employee job descriptions & duties
- Employee terminations and exit documentation.
- Conflict management - establish an effective working relationship between departments.
- Direct and supervise the activities of staff.
- Coordinate approved training for staff with employee sign offs.
- Manitoba labour correspondence, calls & online mandatory surveys.

**Safety**
- Ensures the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Subcontractor safety agreement for new subcontractors, maintain approved subcontractor list, review annually.
- Manage every incident, reporting them without delay and taking remedial action where necessary.

**IT**
- Liaison to IT Support - computer, phone system, printers
- Maintain office systems
- Electronic devices management: Cell phone / iPad / Laptops / Rogers Account
- Monitor online staff activity in regard to ACS related postings - linkedin, facebook etc.

**Additional Duties**:

- Employee uniforms / swag / promo orders
- Event coordinator (outlook calendar)-Industry dinners, tradeshows, golf and various sporting events
- All Marketing related design & write up. sponsorship & brand recognition.
- Provides and maintains customer satisfaction.
- Orders and maintains supplies and chemicals as needed.
- Updates all parties in relation to work progress, changes and additions to original work order.
- Resolves disputes and complaints as needed.
- Complies accurate quotes to complete required work, keeping with cost margins.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with all levels of clienteles.
- Generates new sales leads.
- Managing a cleaning team assigned to residential and commercial properties.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and show example for other employees to emulate.
- Ensure employees are properly trained and equipped to perform their role.
- Carrying out regular job site inspections to determine any unusual or recurring work that needs to be done, such as periodically stripping floor wax, cleaning overhead light fixtures, shampooing carpets and maintain a checklist of everyday cleaning tasks.
- Ability to learn tacking of equipment/materials (ASAP Barcoding) and Restoration Manager for invoicing/work orders/purchase orders.
- Make recommendations for new equipment required to maintain and grow the business

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
