Job Summary

The person in this position will be responsible for:

- Building a relationship with each person supported in order to really understand each person’s wants and needs
- assisting people to build relationships and actively participate in their community, as identified in their goals
- Supporting people to make progress towards realizing their personal goals
- working with community organizations to advocate for and help create opportunities for people

**Qualifications and Key Requirements**:
College Diploma or University Degree.

Must have a valid Driver’s License (G) and a reliable vehicle; Auto Insurance (with a $1,000,000 liability coverage and a permission to carry non-paying passengers).

Must have a police clearance (with vulnerable sector screening).

Must have a valid First Aid, CPR, and CPI/NVCI certificate.

Demonstrated skills in team work, communication, and resilience.

The selection process will also require you to demonstrate your skills in providing person centered supports and connecting to the community through written exercises, interview questions and hands on activities.

**Salary**: $25.42-$26.12 per hour
