**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Press Feeder's primary responsibility is to provide on-going support to the Press Operator before, during and following each job run. In this role, you will review the daily job run schedule as well as any modifications to ensure that the press, stock and other materials are ready in advance. The Feeder loads all required stock to the feeding area, fill ink fountains and prepare other materials such as coatings. The feeder ensures that the paper is feeding properly and must assist with monitoring the press at the delivery area when required. At the completion of the job, the feeder conducts quality check sand moves the printed material to the next process of production.

Other duties include:

- Cleaning ink fountains
- Manually flip stock as required
- Report any maintenance issues
- Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment as per PM schedule. Includes greasing, clean rollers, filters, etc.
- Monitor chemistry inventory and notify management for supply reordering
- Ensure press plates have been prepared and taken to the press from the Plating department
- Conduct self in a professional manner with respectful treatment of coworkers.
- Work in a fast-paced, team environment where positive attitude and input is valued.
- Maintain a neat and tidy work area to minimize safety hazards.
- Over time may be occasionally required.
