**Job Title**:Line Manager - Operational

**Department**:Flight Operations - within the Pilot Team Division

**Location**:Vancouver, BC; Calgary, AB; Edmonton, AB, Toronto, ON

**Work Arrangement**:The Line Manager has the flexibility to work remotely with occasional visits to the Company's Corporate Offices and Airports within the Flair Network as required. The position operates in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment and may require flexible working hours, including weekdays and holidays, to ensure operational efficiency.

**Position Overview**:
The Line Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of crews, operations, and specific projects within the Flight Operations Department. In this role, the Line Manager assists with developing policies and processes relevant to the department, provides advice in matters of employee relations, and ensures compliance with Transport Canada regulations and the Flair Company Operations Manual.

Currently, we are seeking a proficient Line Manager to oversee the Operational division, encompassing the following responsibilities. Additionally, familiarity with the Technical division is essential, as outlined below:
**Operational**:

- Conduct and supervise line operation flying duties monthly
- Provide shared 24/7 OPOC coverage duties
- Monitor Captain's Reports and provide necessary follow-up
- Provide general pilot support and assistance
- Track and follow up on any Flight Ops-related flight delays
- Monitor and support Pilot Attendance Management
- Assist in ensuring compliance with flight and duty time regulations for crew scheduling and pilots, keeping all crew members informed of changes
- Support compliance with the Collective Agreement
- Liaise with external agencies working alongside Flair operations
- Assist in aircraft deliveries
- Perform other duties as required

**Technical**:

- Conduct and supervise line operation flying duties monthly
- Provide shared 24/7 OPOC coverage duties
- Develop and maintain pilot communications, memos, company pages & RAQM
- Update and replace QRH and flight deck publications
- Ensure HOT App and Sure Wx are current and updated as required
- Maintain FCOM currency and submit changes as necessary
- Review and maintain Content Locker accuracy/currency
- Ensure memos are current and up-to-date
- Support route and airport development
- Provide charter and non-revenue flight support
- Assist in aircraft deliveries
- Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications & Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset
- Possession of a current Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Previous or current qualifications as a Captain on Boeing aircraft are considered assets.

***Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation operations management, preferably within the Flight Operations or Pilot Training department, is preferred, but not required
- Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred
- Strong understanding of airline operations, flight scheduling, and regulatory requirements

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Strong understanding of Flair policies, procedures, and operational philosophy, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of excellence
- Exceptional diplomatic skills for effective collaboration in high-pressure environments
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapting to varying dynamics to contribute to success
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in operational processes and documentation
- Capacity to handle confidential information discreetly, following company protocols
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Smartsheet for operational efficiency

***Requirements**:

- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- Ability to maintain a valid Passport to accommodate work travel
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
