**Your role**:
As an SMT Line Specialist at LDA Technologies, you will play an important role in the PCB assembly process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will have hands-on experience in every aspect of PCB assembly, from BOM management to thermal profile development and programming SMT machines. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a streamlined and efficient product delivery. **This role is located in our Mississauga office.**
**What you will do**:
- Oversee and actively participate in the entire PCB assembly cycle, from component selection and BOM management to final product testing.
- Manage and maintain accurate BOMs to ensure that all necessary components are available for production.
- Develop and optimize solder profiles to meet the specific requirements of different PCB designs, ensuring reliable solder joints and minimizing defects.
- Operate and interpret results from AOI machines to identify defects and discrepancies in PCB assembly processes.
- Program SMT machines for precise component placement, taking into consideration PCB layouts and design specifications.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability in PCB assembly.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing measures to optimize the SMT assembly line.
**What you have**:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SMT line management and PCB assembly.
- Proficiency in managing BOMs and component procurement.
- Experience in solder profile development for various PCB designs.
- Familiarity with Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) machines.
- Expertise in SMT machine programming and operation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of best practices for PCB assembly and quality control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
