Hi, I'm Michael Fan, CEO and cofounder of Risedesk, and I'm a 2014 Rotman Commerce alumni so I've been in your shoes I'm looking for an administrative assistant who can help me be more efficient with both my many Risedesk responsibilities but also some exciting new NDA (non-disclosure agreement) projects. Working closely with executives teaches a lot of professional development and I think it would be a good learning experience for anyone looking to manage teams in the future. As we work more closely together, there is an opportunity to tailor the experience to fit your interests and long terms goals so there is more than meets the eye here but I did want to start initially with lower expectations.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at Risedesk. This role will report directly to the CEO and provide essential support to ensure the smooth functioning of the office and assist in various administrative tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Administrative Support**: They provide general administrative support to the office staff. This can include tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing, and mail distribution.
- **Inventory Management**: They are responsible for managing office supplies, equipment, and inventory. This includes ordering new supplies, maintaining the inventory, and ensuring that the office is well-stocked.
- **Financial Tasks**: They may handle basic financial tasks such as processing invoices, expense reports, and assisting with budget preparation.
- **Customer Service**: They often serve as the first point of contact for clients or customers, providing excellent customer service and handling inquiries or complaints.
- **Data Entry and Management**: They perform data entry tasks and manage the office's database systems. This can include updating records, inputting new information, and ensuring data accuracy.
- **Event Planning**: They may be involved in planning and organizing office events, meetings, or conferences. This can include arranging venues, scheduling, and coordinating with vendors or participants.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour
