For our government Client, Public Services and Procurement Canada, we are seeking (1) one Telecominications Analyst.

Scope
- Analyze and document current and proposed activities of DCEIP 4 (C4ISR Network Services & Architecture)
- Develop and document updated technical and service/solution architectures.

**Background**

As the roles and responsibilities of DCEIP 4 grow, a requirement to analyze its current activities and processes, and to develop new ones, has arisen.

At the same time, DCEIP 4 needs additional assistance to comply with DND’s enterprise-wide initiative to develop and document formal architectures for its services (also known as solutions).

These tasks require a resource with expertise in service architecture, network technologies, and business process development. They must also be able to document architecture using DND’s standard Qualiware software.

**Scope of work**

Analysis and development of technical and service architectures for DCEIP 4.

**Tasks**
- a. Identify and classify DCEIP 4’s current activities
- b. Analyze and document current and proposed business practices and services, using the Qualiware architectural documentation tool.
- c. Help define DCEIP’s future areas of responsibility
- d. Help develop business practices that effectively support DCEIP’s service offerings
- e. Help coordinate execution of DCEIP projects

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 48 weeks

Pay: $70.00-$80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Secure Cloud to Ground connectivity: 6 years (required)
- Technical Architecture Documents (TADs) for data networking: 10 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Secret Security Status at Government of Canada (required)
