**About us**

**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Marketing Administrator. The Marketing Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the marketing department and assisting in the execution of marketing initiatives. This role involves coordinating marketing activities, managing marketing materials, conducting research, and assisting with the implementation of marketing campaigns.

**Duties**:

- Assist in creating and updating marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, presentations, website content, blog posts, social media content, and promo kit for events.
- Manage content calendars and schedules to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
- Assist in managing social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement (messages, comments, followers, etc) and analyzing performance metrics.
- Collect and analyze marketing data to measure the effectiveness of initiatives. Prepare monthly reports on marketing KPIs, including website visitors and social media engagement, providing insights for optimization.
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, such pitch competitions, luncheons, webinars, and community outreach.
- Coordinate logistics, manage vendors, and ensure smooth event execution.
- Along with sales and programs departments, conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Present updates including progress on current and upcoming initiatives, content calendar, and challenges faced, during the weekly 15-minute scrum meetings with the Marketing Manager.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and maintaining marketing databases (mailing lists, leads, content, analyses, etc).

**Requirements, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Familiarity with social media platforms, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Creativity and willingness to contribute new ideas to marketing initiatives.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, WordPress and Trello is an asset.
