Coastal Drone Co. is looking for the right individual to join our independent and dynamic team. **JOB SUMMARY**

Due to the online delivery of the majority of our training products, they scale well. As our network of graduates builds, we want to make sure we maintain the approachability and access to expert information we’re known for. We need to develop and maintain ongoing training relationships with organizations and industry. We need to spot underserved markets and find valuable niches. We need to make sure our customers are happy with the product and that it balances the right amount of scalable training with personalized service. We need to build new courses and supporting content to stay relevant.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS.**

One of the key features we’re looking for in someone is their flexibility and desire to “wear many hats” as is often required in a young, small company.

- Ability and desire to learn.
- Excitement about flexibility in a role.
- Experience working in the aviation industry is a strong plus.
- Experience with CRM’s such as Pipedrive.
- Enjoyment from interacting with customers.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Great team player with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Excellent English verbal and written skills.
- Excellent time management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and browser-based technologies.
- Experience with data entry and online customer service management.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

In order of priority:
**Customer Service and Support**
- Manage inbound/outbound opportunities/sales for training courses and the Remote Pilot Network.
- Responding to website / chat / phone inquiries
- Provide customer service and up-sale of inbound opportunities.
- Identifying leads and opportunities and executing on them
- Update company CRM with sales and customer service activities.
- Set and achieve monthly targets in volume.
- Monitoring for, responding to and assistance preparing public tenders.

**RPAS Compliance Analyst / Operations Support**
- Assist in consulting for large clients to Develop SOPs and other operational support documents
- Gap analysis of existing and proposed risk management programs.
- Review existing procedures, collaborate with the Coastal team, Transport Canada / other stakeholders to develop procedures for safe execution of client requirements.
- Develop SOPs and Guidelines for Coastal / RPN Operations.

**Social Media / Communications / Marketing**
- Manage LinkedIn / Facebook / Instagram social media posts and campaigns
- Monitor social media networks and outlets for trends and market shifts
- Engage the community base and maintain / continue to grow Coastal's position of knowledge, trust, and authority in the RPAS space.

**Content Development / Marketing**
- Come up with / create content for the RPN / Coastal Social Channels
- Monitor press release outlets, collaborate with market players
- Monitor trends and regulatory changes and update content to maintain relevance and compliance.
- Create new long-form educational content for Thinkific courses
- Be comfortable on camera and in speaking or training engagements.
- Assist in the creation of short-form content and vlog / blog / social format lead generators for Youtube/Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn
- Update web content on Coastal website, RPN site, and Thinkific.
- Generate written content for blogs and mail campaigns.

**RPAS Pilot / Operations Support**
- Maintain an Advanced Pilot Certificate, obtain a Flight Reviewer rating.
- Conduct Advanced RPAS field operations on behalf of Coastal in an ad-hoc fashion.
- Maintain and operate a fleet of company owned equipment and sensors.
- Coordinate all flights in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and internal SOPs.
- Travel occasionally as required
