We are Eos Lightmedia, an award-winning lighting and audiovisual design-build firm based in beautiful Vancouver, BC. We work amazing clients in themed attractions, museums, architecture, public spaces and presentation centres both locally and globally. We were founded in 2008 in response to a need for turn-key solutions in the LED lighting an control system market. Eos Lightmedia is a full-service firm that offers value to our clients at every stage of the design and build process taking complex scopes of work and providing custom, tailored solutions. Some of our projects include:

- Lighting Design, supply and installation
- AV Design, supply and installation
- Software development and deployment
- Lighting and audio visual system programming

**JOB SUMMARY**:
**During a typical day you might be**:

- Working with the sales and integration team to prepare quotations for bid proposals, including budgets and quotations
- Assisting with ordering, tracking, and invoicing of Eos Lightmedia projects and/or project components
- Aiding design department in preparing project budgets
- Communicating with vendors to ensure that all critical deliveries arrive at their destinations on time
- Working on project registration with suppliers to manage project pricing
- Interacting with suppliers to resolve issues and gather critical information such as invoices, tracking info, tax documents, etc.
- Procuring lighting and audio visual equipment for projects based on procurement schedule, including onsite materials needed 'just in time'
- Tracking project costs including cost of goods, shipping, labour costs and miscellaneous expenses
- Making recommendations and participate in improving procurement and quoting processes
- A variety of other related duties

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE**:

- Post secondary education preferably in business or technical side of theatre
- 1-2 years' experience in purchasing, estimating or 2 - 3 years stage managing live theatre, Familiarity with lighting and AV systems and components would be an asset
- Experience with customer service, procurement & quotations
- Excellent vendor communication skills, strong time management skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines and receiving critical orders on time
- Computer savvy with mid-to high level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and file management
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal with strong problem solving ability
- Good decision-making and negotiation skills preferably gained in a purchasing/procurement environment.
- Ability to build professional relationships with management, contractors and suppliers
- Ability to collaborate with peers to ensure administrative systems and processes are consistently followed and monitored for effectiveness and that gaps are addressed and resolved when identified
- Knowledge of supply chain management in the lighting and/or entertainment industry along with design or construction industry experience an asset
- Procurement-related or electronic Accounts Payable experience (procurement, expediting, or other order entry) an asset
- Strong attention to detail while still being able to see the broader picture
- The ability to listen, persuade, analyze, and negotiate with an understanding of working in a multicultural environment
- Organized work methods with good time & project management skills
- Willingness to learn
- Must be able to work flexible hours as required from time to time

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
