Our team in Canada is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Procurement & Contracts Manager to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the Vancouver office.

**About the Role**
- Lead a team of supply chain professionals including buyers, contract administrators and expeditors to support and execute procurement and contracts for an EPCM project.
- Manage the procurement and contracts for the project by monitoring and maintaining procurement schedules, bidders’ lists, package lists, live data Hexagon ensuring full compliance by the team to Ausenco procurement and contracts procedures.
- Support the team in everyday procurement and contract processes by monitoring and assisting staff with issuance of Requests for Proposals/Quotations, bid evaluations and negotiations, recommendations for award, preparation of requisitions for purchase order and contracts award, expediting, and administration of purchase orders and contracts.
- Assist in meeting project timelines by facilitating the timely delivery of equipment and services to the project in accordance with the procurement and contracts procedures.
- Manage the accuracy of procurement and contracts requirements by liaising with relevant departments within Ausenco to ensure full compliance to schedule requirements and procurement and contracts procedures are strictly maintained.
- Managing procurement and contract related risks.
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting and documentation by monitoring and providing assistance in the preparation of procurement reports, bank guarantee and insurance registers, payment certificates, and purchase order and contracts close outs in accordance with procurement and contracts processes and procedures.
- Maintain a highly efficient and productive Procurement and Contract team by providing support, mentoring and training of team members in all facets of the procurement and contracts process and procedures.

**About You**
- Diploma/Degree in business related discipline and/or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 30 years project procurement and contracts experience in the Engineering and Construction industries, with significant leadership roles in in mining industry.
- Ability to chair and control contractual supplier meetings.
- Ability to lead all Project Procurement and Contracts Project staff on a daily basis.
- Ability to lead all commercial negotiations.
- Mentor procurement and contracts team.
- Ability to lead negotiations and finalize terms and conditions for agreements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to adapt to change.
