PFC Flexible Circuits Ltd, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking an Human Resources Generalist who is looking to take their career to the next level. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for all aspects of human resources that include performing a variety of professional level duties in the areas of employee relations, talent management, benefits and recruiting. Participates on cross-functional initiatives, special projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Serves as a partner and resource to business unit leadership and HR to ensure continuous communication and connectivity between Division HR and the business;
- Implements and administers effective programs spanning the breadth of the HR function, with focus on talent and performance management, change management, employee relations, recruiting, total rewards. Supporting other sister divisions as needed.
- Responsible for the investigation and resolution of employee relations matters.
- Possesses strong analytical skills. Ability to assess processes and outcomes by establishing solid metrics of performance.
- Execute solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
- Plans, participates in, and evaluates special projects requiring coordination of activities across departmental and functional lines.
- Understands the effect of new laws or administrative regulations on human resources programs, and assists in the design of procedures and forms for policy implementation.
- Facilitate training and leadership development for assigned business entity.
- Front line HR support for all internal employee information requests and data updates.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry including: new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations and all other personnel changes into various HR systems (HRIS (Success Factors), ADP, timekeeping, etc.)
- Prepare for new hires. Communicate with new hires regarding Day 1 expectations and manage new hire orientation, onboarding, and documentation; new hire packet creation.
- Conducts/leads exit meetings and communicate important exit information to employees in advance of their last day. Ensure final pay is prepared accurately and in accordance with regulations.
- Assist with payroll as necessary. Planning of benefit-related events (open enrollment, etc.)
- Manage COVID activity for PFC.

- It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
- BS/BA in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or related field required; experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Current knowledge of Federal, Ontario and Quebec legal regulations and practices for HR.
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience working for Canadian companies with emphasis in supporting a manufacturing or technology workforce.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to partner and build relationships with leadership, managers and all levels of coworkers.
- Demonstrated Business Acumen as represented by financial or HR analysis and decision support.
- Authentic individual with impeccable integrity, whose personal and professional values are consistent with OSI System’s mission, vision and leadership framework.
- Servant leader who puts the interests of the broader team and the organization’s goals ahead of their own personal agenda.
- Possesses strong analytical skills. Ability to assess processes and outcomes by establishing solid metrics of performance.
- Performance-driven individual who is a critical thinker with a metrics-driven approach to all solutions.
- Reliable, organized, and detail oriented. Ability to handle stressful situations and multiple tasks with composure.
- Must be able to travel to job sites and other locations as required; up to 5%.
