**This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Head Chef.**
You will have the opportunity to create your own menu, possess the freedom to express your own creative identity, and be involved in hiring and building your own kitchen team.
**Description**
- Direct, guide, and organize all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the kitchen team.
- Create a positive overall guest experience ensuring that food quality and presentation is consistent, portioned and exceptional.
- Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met.
- Ensure that kitchen staff adhere to quality, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and kitchen processes.
- Deal with suppliers and ensuring that they supply quality goods at affordable prices.
- Manage the inventory and order stock as needed.
**Requirements**:
- 1-3+ years of experience in a Culinary Leadership role.
- Recruit and retain top talent.
- High attention to detail with integrity to product quality assurance.
- Food Safe and Health & Safety Certification.
- A proven track record managing food cost, labor and inventory management.
- Experience with ensuring adherence to kitchen cleanliness and safety standards including creating and implementing Food Safety and Sanitation Plans.
- A passion for food, cooking, and leadership.
- Menu development experience.
- A calm and kind demeanor when interacting with team members.
