**Position Title**: Trainer, Inclusion Services

**Location**: Hybrid Work Environment

**Position Type**: Hourly, Contract (January 15, 2024 - December 15, 2024)

**Hour of Work**: Variable/Flexible (approximately 2-10 hours per week depending on organizational need and employee availability)

**Salary Range**: $18-19/hour

**Reports To**: Advisor(s), Inclusion Services

**What will you be doing as the Trainer, Inclusion Services?**

As the Trainer, Inclusion Services at Between Friends, your role is pivotal in advancing our mission of creating an inclusive community for individuals of all abilities. You will develop and deliver Inclusion Training programs, customize content to meet organizations' specific needs, and provide ongoing support to online learners. By forging strategic partnerships and equipping diverse stakeholders with tools in diversity, equity, and inclusion, you'll play a vital part in building a more inclusive world where differences are celebrated, and every individual feels valued and included.

As our Trainer, Inclusion Services, you will be responsible for:

- researching, developing, and maintaining Inclusion Training content and resources;
- delivering meaningful Inclusion Training programs to a variety of organizations and audiences;
- supporting organizations in developing and implementing more inclusive practices by tailoring training content and programs to the needs and context of each organization;
- acting as a resource and support to online learners through the _Connect_ Inclusion Training.

The Trainer, Inclusion Services will work in the Inclusion Services department which consists of two full time staff and two hourly staff:

- Advisor(s), Inclusion Services (2)
- Trainer(s), Inclusion Services (2)

**What are we looking for in a Trainer, Inclusion Services?**

For our Trainer, Inclusion Services we are looking for the following:

- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or progress toward one, coupled with experience, coursework, or personal initiatives related to inclusion and diversity. This opportunity is open to individuals with diverse educational backgrounds and experiences.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably in the context of inclusion and diversity. This role will require significant in-person training and therefore presentation skills and comfortability are required.
- Strong research abilities to create and maintain Inclusion Training content and resources that remain current and effective.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and support diverse learners, including those in online settings.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is an asset.
- Experience in Google Drive and/or Microsoft Office, as well as an openness to learning new softwares and programs.
- Experience with graphic design is an asset.
- An advocate for inclusion and diversity, with a passion for improving access to programs and services for all individuals with disabilities.
