**Job Overview**

We are seeking a professional, hardworking, trustworthy individual to join our team as Electrical Testing Lab Supervisor. This dual-role position requires you to conduct testing as well supervising a small team of Testing Associates, ensuring precision, safety, and compliance with all procedures. Equally important, you take pride in your work, you’re proactive, you enjoy collaborating, communicating and working with your team members to get things done and done well.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform all standard duties of a Voltage Testing Associate, including testing, cleaning, and repairing electrical safety equipment and tools per ASTM standards and customer specifications.
- Supervise and lead a team of Testing Associates, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate testing records and certificates, aligning with quality assurance standards.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and safety-first work environment.
- Manage workflow and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and handle rush orders effectively.
- Ensure the lab environment is always clean, organized, and safe.
- Work collaboratively and proactively with other department team members who interact with the testing lab.
- Collaborate proactively with team members of other departments who manage incoming and outgoing items, as well as finance, to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
- Act as a primary point of communication between the team and management for operational updates, issue management, productivity reporting and ongoing improvement.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Experience in electrical testing or a similar technical role is preferred, but not a requirement
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills in handling testing equipment or related equipment
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English to ensure team members understand safety protocols and policies relating to operation of testing equipment
- Ability to physically stand for the majority of the shift and occasionally lift/carry items weighing over 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and understanding of WHMIS and other safety regulations.
- There is no need for engineering, electrical or other designation as training will be provided
