Electrical Systems Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Curtiss-Wright Nuclear Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical components and equipment for projects related to the nuclear industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop electrical components and equipment for nuclear industry projects
- Review and understand customer purchase orders, technical specifications, and quality assurance requirements
- Translate customer requirements into design, procurement, qualification, and testing documents
- Ensure compliance with customer purchasing requirements, technical specifications, and industry standards and regulations
- Determine design approaches and parameters for testing and qualifying equipment and systems
- Facilitate factory acceptance tests, document, and evaluate results of electrical and electromechanical components and systems
- Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and review vendor capability to support product compliance and verification
- Lead technical support of failure investigations and support bid responses
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the company Quality Program and Nuclear regulatory requirements
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project objectives, including safety, quality, and customer schedule
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Professional Engineering license required
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office experience
