Job Summary:

Celestica is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Development Engineer to join our team. As a Test Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated test equipment and test programs for product testing and design verification.

You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by developing and implementing test strategies, designing and developing test solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automated test equipment and test programs for product testing and design verification
  • Develop and implement test strategies to ensure product quality and reliability
  • Design and develop test solutions, including hardware and software elements, and system integration, qualification, and installation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve test efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and regulations, and apply this knowledge to improve test strategies and solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science or Engineering in Computer, Electrical, Software, or Computer Science
  • 1-3 years of related experience in test development, especially in areas such as automated test equipment and test programs, test strategies, and test solutions
  • Strong understanding of systems and printed circuit board design, manufacturing processes, and equipment
  • Knowledge of industry and quality standards, including those related to testing software, processes, and methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
