About you and this role:
Dow has three exciting opportunities for Construction EH&S Delivery Managers supporting capital projects located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada. The location of this role is Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada.

The Construction EH&S Delivery Manager has the responsibility for the implementation of the EH&S management system within the project to ensure business / program / project objectives are met and the license to construct is maintained. This role reports to the TES Safety Expertise Center within the Field Execution Technology Group.

Each of these roles will support one of the following projects: Poly 4, LP8, or LP7R at the Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta site and is expected to last the duration of the assigned project.

This role will support efforts for the Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero program will create the first net-zero emissions site of its kind in the world. The FS P2Z program is a key enabler to Dow’s Decarbonization strategy. Learn More:

**Responsibilities**:

- Functional Leader for the project construction safety organization
- Coaches, trains, and mentors the construction safety organization (consist of EPC contractors, execution contractors and Dow employees)
- Partners with Construction Managers to meet the safety goals of the project
- Collects and analyzes construction safety data
- Identify trends that may need intervention and recognizes best practices for leveraging
- Leads project EH&S performance improvement
- Member of project Construction Management Leadership Team
- Partners with local site organizations to ensure alignment with local requirements
- Meets regularly with Project Leadership and contractor safety leaders
- Ensure applicable EH&S regulations, standards, policies, procedures, work processes, and tools are effectively applied within the project
- Provides on-site EH&S Leadership support throughout construction execution
- Leads TES EH&S or project EH&S initiatives
- Lead and champion management system reviews as part of the assessment and audit processes.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve potential EH&S risks
- Participate in and / or facilitates incident investigations and the corrective action process for EH&S issues

Qualifications:

- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking is required.
- A minimum of 7 years in a manufacturing or construction environment (EH&S Delivery, Production, Improvement, Maintenance, Engineering / Construction or Site Logistics).
- Must be willing and able to meet all applicable requirements related to business travel (e.g., as to immigration and visa rules, public-health mandates, airline rules, etc.) into and out of (and physical presence in) various countries worldwide.
