Here are some of the things you will be doing and what we are looking for:
- As the Business Development Specialist, you will be selling a wide variety of our services, with a special focus on our Certification program
- This is an Outside Sales role and you will be focusing on clients within North America
- You will be the source of generating new prospects and clients for Ethical Digital - for digital marketing services, for our Certification program - the sky is the limit
- You will receive 1:1 training with both our CEO, Katrina German, and our Business
Development Manager, Crystal Reich, to understand the business and where we are headed
- You will work closely with the Business Development Manager, and keep her informed of leads and prospects
- You will work in the areas of research, analysis, sourcing, identifying, and qualifying leads
- You will follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from direct sales and network activity
- You will be responsible for the development and presentation (both written and verbal communication) of Proposals for potential clients
- You will participate in the development of winning proposal strategies
- You will participate in Business Development events (networking events, sales webinars, trade shows, etc.) and marketing initiatives
- You will assist in the preparation and distribution of marketing materials
- You will be warm, courteous and knowledgeable about our brand and our services
- You can cultivate and create sales opportunities
- You will prepare and present information to clients, and be able to keenly understand what their organization needs from us (even when they might not know themselves)
- *You may not have all the answers, but you have an agile response ready for the situation.
- You can’t win them all You know not to take things personally, and have the maturity to move forward. Onwards and upwards
- You will keep a keen eye on the trends in the sectors and provinces we work in
- You will have superior interpersonal and communication skills
- You will be a brand ambassador for Ethical Digital
- You will be able to achieve (and hopefully surpass) monthly sales targets
- You will be excited by our relatively young organization and help it grow to its full potential
- You will be familiar with the G-Suite and able to operate efficiently within it
- You will be responsible for entering leads and updating a CRM with your daily sales activities
- You will have a private and quiet work-space
- You will have a reliable internet connection
- You will have a valid Passport as travel may be required, as well as a valid driver’s license and vehicle
- Other duties as assigned.
