**Job Overview**:
As the Business Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our continued growth and success. You’ll be the key player in introducing new clients to our top-tier services and ensuring smooth, efficient client relations by directly supporting our Operations team on essential tasks and projects. You will collaborate with members of the Client Services team to ensure positive and productive relationships with our organization’s clients. This full-time role reports to our National Client Services Manager and is based out of our Vancouver, BC, office.

**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service Duties include**:

- Provide accurate information regarding services, and company policies.
- Resolve customer issues, complaints, or concerns by identifying solutions or escalating when necessary.
- Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude when interacting with customers.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met and service levels are maintained.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Manage, build, and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
- Deliver exceptional, friendly, and efficient service for all clients.
- Address client queries, investigate complaints, and escalate serious issues as needed.
- Collaborate with local management teams to meet client needs.
- Create, review, and manage contracts and other client-related documents, ensuring all documentation is processed accurately.
- Proactively identify client needs and maintain existing relationships.

**Business Development duties include**
- Prepare, evaluate, and distribute compelling quotes.
- Participate in and coordinate the setup of new contracts.
- Assist with the development of process documents and procedures, such as creating post orders and training manuals for client sites.
- Review, revise, and prepare reports with data analysis for clients as needed.
- Respond to emergency and coverage requests from clients efficiently.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution andmaintenance of client contracts.
- Measure contract performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Respond to inbound inquiries and follow up with potential leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Present and demonstrate products or services to prospective customers.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales contracts.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to improve lead generation and product offerings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.

**Requirements**:

- 4-6 years of progressive experience in a client focused role with a focus on business development.
- Proven experience in project management, including the ability to lead projects to successful completion.
- A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Law,
- Communications, Entrepreneurship, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail, especially in contract management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and Asana with the ability to quickly learn new software.
- A proactive and engaging personality with a natural ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Prior experience within the security industry is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the drive to identify and fulfill client needs.
- Access to a personal vehicle for commuting to client sites and meetings (associated expenses will be reimbursed).
- Ability to reliably commute to our Vancouver, BC office and client sites across British Columbia
