Compulsion Games is a first-party game studio and subsidiary of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios, located in Montreal, Canada.

We are a boutique team of industry veterans, who trust and respect each other and love our craft. Our games have won praise for their art, music, world-building and narrative. We are now working on South of Midnight, which was recently revealed.

We like to take on troublesome themes. We try to make characters with compelling, human flaws. We mix darkness and comedy.

The Technical Support Advisor will assist our Systems Administrator with all IT-related tasks in the studio to assist our team.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist our Systems Administrator with any IT-related issues and tasks, including, setting up of equipment, troubleshooting hardware and software, placing equipment orders etc.
- Assist with creating accounts and managing access rights
- Assists with physical installation and configuration of workstations as needed
- Helps physically move equipment around the office as needed, optimizing storage space
- Follows up with employees on any lower-level IT requests in partnership with our Systems Administrator

**Qualifications**:

- High school or college degree. Education in an IT field is an asset (A+ certification, Itil, DEP/DEC)
- Bilingual (English & French)
- Strong in communication
- Customer support experience is an asset
- Experience with PC/Console/Mobile gaming systems is an asset
- Comfortable lifting boxes of up to 40lbs

**Description de l'emploi**

Le Conseiller en support technique assistera notre Administrateur de système dans toutes les tâches liées à l'informatique dans le studio pour aider notre équipe.

**Responsabilités**
- Assister notre administrateur système pour tous les problèmes et tâches liés à l'informatique, y compris la configuration de l'équipement, le dépannage du matériel et des logiciels, la passation de commandes d'équipement, etc.
- Aide à l'installation physique et à la configuration des postes de travail au besoin
- Aide à déplacer physiquement l'équipement dans le bureau selon les besoins, en optimisant l'espace de stockage
- Aide à la création des comptes et gestion d'accès
- Assurer le suivi auprès des employés de toutes les demandes informatiques en partenariat avec notre administrateur système

**Qualifications**
- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou collégiales. Formation dans un domaine informatique un atout
- Bilingue (anglais et français)
- Fort en communication
- Expérience en support client un atout
- Expérience avec les systèmes de jeu PC/Console/Mobile un atout
