**Job Description**:
To successfully lead, guide and support a team of associates in order to meet and exceed both internal and external customer requirements

To practice & implement continuous improvement activities, establish and report departmental KPI’s on a monthly basis

Ensure operational effectiveness and support continuous improvement activities while ensuring established sales targets are achieved

Establish departmental workflow to optimize departmental efficiencies, Manage and train customer service staff on Freud Customer Service procedures

Ensure that customer on time delivery requirements are met

To support and help grow our business and provide sound decisions by establishing best practices within the workplace

To deliver exceptional customer service to all inside & outside customers.

Customer On Time Delivery and any related backlogs

Supervise/support the Inside Sales, Reception & Sales support. Perform appraisals, establish goals/objectives and development plans for associates; monitor performance standards

Support sales teams in customer meetings

**Resolving customer & conflicts re**: price/delivery/quality/expediting/returns

Develop Customer relationships (travel as required)

Identify and champion/lead CIP initiatives within the department aimed at improving the Customer experience and departmental efficiencies

To promote teamwork and create/maintain a positive/motivating work environment

Liaise with other departments to ensure we are exceeding the customer’s expectations relating to order fulfillment and product information

Other projects and duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:
Completed High School Diploma (OSSGD) or equivalent

Completed College or University Degree preferably in a Business operations

Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a related industry required and 5-7 years of Customer Service experience

Accurate keying skills and Strong MS Office skills, SAP Experience is a must, AS400 Experience a strong asset

Strong leadership skills, positive attitude with sound decision making abilities

Must be a team player with excellent people/interpersonal skills - with the ability to develop others, mentor and coach when applicable

Has the ambition to lead and to create a motivating environment

Understands when to take charge and when to delegate
