**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES**
- Completion of claims forms and verification that claims are ready for submission in accordance with payor guidelines
- Submit all necessary documents via third-party portals in order to initiate claim payment procedure
- Monitor claims to ensure timely submission and receipt of payment
- Reconciling third party remittances
- Application of received payments into applicable operating system
- Audit claims to ensure accuracy and identify learning opportunities to improve processes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all claims
- Work collaboratively to gather necessary information and resolve issues pertaining to claims
- Liaise and create positive relationships between Living Sounds and third-party payors, private insurers, and government agencies
- Provide excellent customer service to clients both internally and externally
- Create and foster positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization in order to provide the best support possible
- Other duties as assigned

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**:

- 2+ years of experience in claims coordination or a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent required; related certificate or diploma preferred
- Previous experience in the hearing or other medical setting is an asset
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Accounts receivable experience would be an asset
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with various systems and software pertaining to claims and office administration
- Collaborative team player mindset
