The Human Resources and Payroll Administrator will be responsible for aiding and facilitating the Human Resources and cross functionally Payroll processes across all global entities, including year-end and audits. They will also facilitate the administration of benefits and compensation programs for employees. The Human Resources and Payroll Administrator ensures that plans are administered in accordance with the applicable regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative support to the Human Resources function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. They will support the Human Resources department by ensuring that proper procedures and best practices are in place as well as make recommendations to improve departmental processes and procedures in an effort to streamline current operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Administers group benefits and pension plans, including enrolments, changes, and terminations;
- Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions;
- Fields employee requests in a timely and professional manner;
- Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks;
- Conducts audits of HR programs and recommends corrective action where necessary;
- Assists with duties and tasks associated with the preparation and processing of payroll;
- Assists with administrative processing of hires and terminations;
- Assists with the preparation and record keeping of the performance review process;
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by Human Resources leaders;
- Files and maintains documents in appropriate employee files;
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested;
- Prepares new employee files;
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of payroll and human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

- Certificate or equivalent in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience;
- At least two years related experience required;
- Experience working in a SaaS environment where adaptability is an asset.
