**Part-Time Office Assistant**
AB Storage is a storage company that displays outstanding customer service in a safe, secure, and friendly environment. We are looking for a unique individual for a unique position.
Reporting to the Office Manager, the Office Assistant provides clerical support services and basic office duties; maintains customer inquiries and records relating to storage unit rentals, provides receptionist services (on and off-site) including answering general inquiries, greeting customers, booking appointments, showing rental units, data entry, basic bookkeeping and light office cleaning.
**Education, Training and Experience**
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, office computer equipment, smartphones, bookkeeping, plus one year of related clerical experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Familiarity with Sage accounting software is an asset (training will be provided).
**Skills And Abilities**
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Applications.
- Ability to operate related office equipment, e.g., photocopier, facsimile.
- Exceptional communication - oral and written.
- Ability to do basic daily and month-end bookkeeping.
- Ability to deal with multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to work as a member of a service-based team, as well as independently.
- Ability to deal with the public in a tactful, courteous, and professional manner.
- Ability to act with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

**Hours and Wage**
The office assistant will work 8-12 hours per week (combination of on-site and off-site) and will carry a smartphone one week per month to answer calls. The office assistant is required to have flexible hours, although on-site office hours will generally be set. The starting wage is $22/hour, and $250 per week for carrying a phone. In addition, benefits will be provided.
