USJE requires a term Information Management Associate. This bilingual (English/French) imperative position is being advertised to fill a 12-month term (with the possibility of extension) at the USJE National Office in Ottawa, Ontario.

**Position**:
Reporting to the Head of Information Management (HIM), the Information Management Associate (IMA) assists in the collection, analysis and maintenance of membership and grievance data at the USJE National Office. Major responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to):

- Assisting the Head of Information Management in managing a variety of projects related to the USJE shared drive, membership administration and labour relations information
- Analysing and processing new grievance files and informal complaints, assigning files to labour relations officers based on their individual portfolios
- Analysing and updating member data in UnionWare, related to member status, local allotment, and local executive positions
- Providing Information Management assistance to the Head of Information Management, the Director of Labour Relations, National Executive Members and Locals

**Salary**:
$75,732 to $85,238 plus $1,405 bilingualism bonus. Salary dependent upon qualifications. Conditions and benefits, including pay rates, as negotiated between the Union of Safety and Justice Employees and Unifor Local 2025 will apply.
- Fluently bilingual in French and English, and excellent writing skills in both
- In-depth knowledge of various software programs (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel)
- Considerable experience using / maintaining information management systems
- Understanding of grievances and ability to ascertain file requirements
- Excellent administrative abilities and strong organizational skills
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, confidential, and sensitive environment and work effectively under pressure to meet set deadlines
- Effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Collaborative, open-minded and creative in a team-oriented setting

**Poste**:
Relevant du ou de la chef de la gestion de l’information, l’adjoint-e à la gestion de l’information contribue à la collecte, à l’analyse et à la mise à jour des données sur l’adhésion et les griefs au Bureau national du SESJ. Les grandes responsabilités de ce poste comprennent (mais ne se limitent pas à) ce qui suit:

- Assurer le suivi et le traitement des messages reçus aux adresses courriel destinées aux griefs, aux messages des membres et à tout autre projet spécial du SESJ, et y répondre;
- Assister le ou la chef de la gestion de l’information dans la gestion de divers projets liés au lecteur partagé du SESJ, à l’administration des membres et à l’information sur les relations de travail;
- Analyser et traiter les nouveaux dossiers de griefs et les plaintes informelles, confiant les dossiers aux agent-e-s en relations de travail selon leurs portefeuilles respectifs;
- Dans UnionWare, analyser et mettre à jour des données relatives aux membres en ce qui concerne leur état, la section locale qui leur est assignée et les postes de l’Exécutif national;
- Aider le ou la chef de la gestion de l’information à élaborer des lignes directrices en matière de gestion de l’information, des procédures d’utilisation normalisées, des méthodes et des outils communs, des techniques et des procédures, ainsi que des procédures techniques et d’exploitation, des méthodologies et des normes utilisées pour assurer la gestion de tous les dossiers et le respect des
