**RECEPTIONIST/SALES ASSISTANT**

Nortrux Inc. is currently hiring for a permanent, full time **Receptionist/Sales Assistant** at our Edmonton location. Our dynamic company has been in business since 1987 and was the first heavy truck dealership to be certified by the ISO Quality System in Canada in 1997. We have three full-service Mack Truck Dealerships that provide New and Used Truck Sales, Rentals and Leasing, Parts, Service, as well as Financing solutions, with locations in Edmonton, Red Deer and Grande Prairie, Alberta. We also own and operate a heavy-duty truck body shop. Nortrux has recently become the SHERP dealer for Alberta.

This front-line position is vital in representing Nortrux during the first contact with customers and vendors, assisting the sales manager and sales employees with administrative tasks within the sales department. This position also assists with maintaining daily efficiencies within

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Represent Nortrux Inc. by greeting customers and vendors in a professional and positive manner.
- Answer a multi-line switchboard with a cheerful outlook and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department and/or employee.
- Coordinate reception functions to facilitate seamless customer service.
- Assist/Cross-Train in all daily, weekly, and monthly Sales Coordinator duties.
- Maintain a clean and organized front reception area.
- Organize incoming mail and courier packages.
- Provide administration support as required by all departments.
- Perform other general duties as assigned, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Maintain an active social media presence for Nortrux Inc.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Preferred one year of work experience as a receptionist, sales clerical position and/or a similar administrative role.
- Willing to train.
- An incredible positive can-do attitude.
- Excellent phone etiquette.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to follow and listen to instructions.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Organized and able to prioritize daily tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly proficient in interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and various CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Must be fluent in English.

**EDUCATION**
- High School Diploma (preferred) or postsecondary school

**Successful applicants must pass a pre-employment medical test**
