As the Calculation Specialist, Disability Claims you will provide daily support and expert resources to the operations of the Disability Claims Department in Group Benefits. You will play a key role in carrying out, administering, and communicating different aspects of disability benefit calculations while providing exceptional client service.

**How you will create impact**:

- Calculating earnings and benefit levels in accordance with policy wording, including benefit calculations, rehabilitation calculations, all source max calculations, CPP calculations, overpayment calculations and offset calculations.
- Developing, implementing, delivering, and maintaining procedural and process updates through current department process and providing guidance on all calculation aspects.
- Providing superior client service, process financial changes, investigate requests and escalations to support new and in force policies.
- Investigating, resolving, and responding to escalated inquiries by utilizing advanced knowledge, and the understanding of potential impacts and requirements of each products specification and the adherence to the business rules.

**To join our team**:

- You have three years of experience in Accounting, Finance, banking, Group Disability Insurance or related field.
- You have a post-secondary diploma in Business Administration or related discipline.
- You have working knowledge of banking, payroll and pre-authorized deduction, and accounting transactions with the ability to interpret accounting reconciliations.
