**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILTIES**
- Regular monitoring and identification of provincial and federal legislation and egulatory developments from key regulators.
- Conduct thorough analysis to assess the impact of regulatory developments on the business by preparing briefing summaries, impact assessments and apprising key stakeholders of findings in a timely manner.
- Support the Director, Corporate Compliance and Governance in maintaining compliance oversight in the facilitation of regulatory implementation projects.
- Ensure accurate and complete record management of end-to-end regulatory implementation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging compliance issues.
- Assist the Director, Corporate Compliance and Governance in the preparation and completion of internal management reports.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of internal policy management.
**EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES**
**Education and Experience**
- 2-7 years of progressive experience in a Compliance, and/or Legal role.
- A post-secondary education in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and Canadian regulatory compliance/legal experience.
- Strong understanding of OSFI, federal and provincial regulations, and regulatory filings in the insurance sector.
- Experience supporting the development and maintenance of a Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) program.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory requirements.
- Proven stakeholder management experience and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to achieve compliance objectives.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal and compliance concepts effectively.
- Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities to meet multiple strict deadlines.
- Experience with compliance software and/or willingness to learn compliance software.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
