Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

**Compute Management**:

- Oversee and maintain the performance and availability of on-premise physical and virtual server infrastructure.
- Perform regular system upgrades and patches on all endpoints.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.

**Storage Management**:

- Manage and maintain data storage solutions, including SAN and cloud storage.
- Ensure data backup, recovery, and archiving processes are maintained, robust and reliable.
- Test the recoverability of systems and data.

**Network Management**:

- Maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Continuous maintenance, monitoring and management of firewalls, VPNs, and other security mechanisms.

**IT Security**:

- Assist in the enforcement of IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and coordinate penetration testing activities.
- Be a key participant of the incident response team to respond to security incidents and breaches, implementing corrective actions.

**Cloud Computing**:

- Manage cloud infrastructure and services.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost and performance.
- Implement and manage cloud security practices and compliance measures.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic IT planning.

Required Qualifications

**Intermediate Level**:At least 5 years of experience in IT systems management.

**Senior Level**: 5-10 years of experience in IT systems management.

**Education**: A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, business administration or a related discipline or completion of a college program in computer science or relevant experience with professional certifications such as CISSP or CIPS-ISP.

**Key Skills**:

- Strong working knowledge of compute, storage, network, IT security, and information systems.
- Working knowledge and experience with Azure, GCP and AWS are essential.
- Working knowledge and experience with IaC tools and DevOps are desirable.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft/AWS/GCP cloud certifications, etc.) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
- Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to work with diverse teams.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to handle changing priorities and adapt to new technologies.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Time Management: Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Customer Service Orientation: Commitment to providing excellent support to internal and external stakeholders.
