**Responsibilities (include but not limited to)**
- Support communications and marketing efforts
- Develops, revises, and sustains program communication materials
- Design and edit graphics for print or web as needed
- Co-manage social media editorial calendar and post valuable, shareable content regularly ensuring IAF is positioned as an industry leader

**Job Requirements & Conditions**
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with web design and WordPress websites
- Graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite an asset
- Knowledge of CRM and data management protocols

SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on writing for the web and social media
- Demonstrated tact, judgment, and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, organized and multi-tasking skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability and willingness to adapt and work effectively within a variety of diverse situations and with diverse individuals or groups as well as work independently.
- Ability to think critically and with an analytical mind.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills

EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or journalism preferred.
- 1+ years experience in a communications or marketing role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

CONDITIONS
- **Job Location**: Victoria, BC. (preferred) or Lower Mainland of BC would be considered (regular travel to Victoria will be required if based in Lower Mainland)
- **Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
- **Salary Range**: $55,000 - $75,000 per annum
- **Status**: You are a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have a valid work permit.
- **Travel**:You may be required to travel from time to time within the Province of BC. Travel expenses will be covered by IAF.
